Five Obtain Papers to Run for Board of Selectmen Seat; Four for School Committee

Town Clerk Kathy Nagle published the lists of those who have pulled papers to run in this year's town election March 13.

Five residents have pulled papers to possibly vie for two seats on the Board of Selectmen, according to a report published by Town Clerk Kathy Nagle Friday.

Longtime Town Meeting member and one time Republican state representative Royall H. Switzler has pulled papers along with Selectwoman Terri Tsagaris, the lone incumbent in the race, Donald McCauley, chairman of the Planning Board, Town Meeting Member William D. Mone and Wellesley College alum attorney Elizabeth H. Lange will also be on the ballot.

Members of the Board of Selectmen serve three-year terms.

The race for two School Committee seats could be contested as well.

Incumbents K.C. Kato and Ilissa Povich have pulled papers along with Jen Looper and Tere Ramos. School Committee members serve three-year terms.

The race for two Natural Resources Commission seats could be contested as well. Incumbents Heidi M.B. Gross and Paul A. Cramer will have pulled papers along with Steven G. Murphy.

Natural Resource Commission members serve three-year terms.

Candidates for town-wide office have until Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. to file signed papers at , according to Nagle. The Town Election is March 13.
