DPW, MLP Experiencing Phone Malfunction
Phone calls being directed to after hour answering service.
The Municipal Light Plant and Department of Public Works are experiencing problems receiving telephone calls at their main telephone number, 781-235-7600.
As a temporary fix, all telephone calls are being directed to the after hour answering service. The answering service is forwarding all messages to the MLP and DPW via email as soon they are received. Both the MLP and DPW can call out and the problem is limited to calls coming in.
"We will keep you advised when the phone system is repaired," said Wellesley Police Department in a press release.
