Council on Aging Seeks Volunteer Lunch Servers

The announcement was made on the town's website Aug. 2.

The Wellesley Council on Aging is looking for volunteer lunch servers for Mondays and Thursdays, as well as new volunteers for the server pool.

A server’s shift is between 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to the on the town of Wellesley’s website. The servers are responsible for setting up and serving meals to Council on Aging members at the . Servers will also be responsible for light cleanup and will be expected to interact with the guests.

Servers will not be responsible for any meal preparation as that is done by a contracted catering service.

Volunteers will be required to receive Meal Site Food Safety and Sanitation Training Certification and hands-on training conducted by a registered dietician from Springwell. Volunteers must also clear a CORI (Criminal Offense Record Inquiry).
