Wellesley Police Urge Residents to Sign Up for Community Notification Service
The system will provide power outage downtime alerts and other important information during Hurricane Sandy.
The Wellesley Police Department is urging residents to sign up for the Community Notification System before Hurricane Sandy reaches the area.
The system allows users to choose to received email or text updates, or both.
The system also provides everyday information about traffic, crime and general police alerts.
