Wellesley Police Recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Commemorative Pin

Police officers will wear the pins through October.

Wellesley’s police officials will add a little pink to their blues this month.

The Wellesley Police Department is recognizing national Breast Cancer Awareness month with a commemorative pin on the police shield. The pin is a signature pink breast cancer awareness ribbon with pink handcuffs on either side.

According to a post on the Wellesley Police Department’s website, uniformed police officers will wear the pin just under a right shirt-pocket nametag this month. Police dispatchers will where the pin on their shirt.
