Wellesley Police Log: Chase Through Natick Yields Marijuana Bust

The following information was supplied by the Wellesley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Officer Derby reportedly saw a grey Honda commit motor vehicle violation, and attempted to pull the vehicle over near the Natick line, 10:45 p.m. on Jan. 29. Rather than stopping, the car then fled into Natick on Route 9, then into Framingham and eventually stopped when it ran into a curb. Two men fled the vehicle on foot.

Inside the car, which police later learned was stolen, they located "a sizeable amount of marijuana," according to a Wellesley Police web news update recently posted. Marijuana packaged, police believe, for sale and distribution.
