Wellesley Police Log: Alarmingly Clean and More

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Alarmingly Clean

An officer responded to an address on Maugus Avenue for a house alarm at about 7:45 a.m. on June 25. While en route, officer Fritts was updated by the Communications Center that they had spoken to the resident who had been contacted by the alarm company. When they arrived on the scene, they met a female party at the residence, a cleaner who had accidentally set off the alarm.

While speaking with the officers, Nadir Fernandez Allegre, 53, of Medford seemed upset and did not want to provide more information. Police learned that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for motor vehicle offenses out of Somerville District Court.

She was arrested and charged on that warrant, transported and booked, and taken to Dedham District Court.

Random Checks

At the Worcester and Cedar Intersection, Officer Lindelof ran a random query on a Camry and found it had a revoked registration. After stopping the vehicle at Walnut Street, he requested the license and registration from the driver--who said he had no Mass. license, but had the registration.

Just after 5 p.m. on June 25, a query of the driver, Alfredo Castillo, a Waltham man aged 35, determined that he had a suspended license. He was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving after revocation and driving an uninsured motor vehicle.

He was later released on personal recognizance.

Suspended Driving

While conducting traffic enforcement on Route 9 on June 26 around 6:30 p.m., Detective Connolly reported seeing a Honda Sedan without its front license plate. He stopped the driver and asked for license and registration. A query determined that he had a suspended license.

24-year-old Ian Doble of Natick was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and a number plate violation. He was taken to Dedham District Court in the morning.

Roadside Argument

Before 5 p.m. on June 26, police were dispatched to Route 9 at Lexington Road, a reported domestic dispute, and a vehicle pulled over near St. James' church. When Officer Dixon arrived, he found a man in the back seat and a woman in the front seat of the car.

They separated the two and spoke to them. While speaking to them, they determined that the man had hit the woman. Chun Noh of Westborough, aged 62, was arrested and charged with domestic disturbance. He was taken to Dedham District Court in the morning.

The above reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.
