Wellesley Police Investigating Recent Burglaries

Two home break-ins and two car break-ins recently occurred in the area.

The Wellesley Police Department is investigating two home break-ins and two car break-ins that happened in the area recently.

The home break-ins occurred last week on Prospect Street and Strathmore Road on different days. Residents in both cases returned home to find their homes forcibly broken into and valuables taken.

Wellesley Police Officer Mike Gerard is investigating the two car break-ins that occurred in the Lower Falls area of Washington Street. Early Monday morning (June 23rd), a resident found two cars in their driveway had been broken into overnight. A window had been smashed on one of the vehicles, and the other was unlocked. Small valuable items were takne.
