Wellesley Police Chief Takes the Polar Express

Terrence Cunningham reads to children on the MBCR's Polar Express over the weekend.

Over the weekend, Wellesley Police Chief took a trip to the North Pole by MBTA.

25 local youth charities and the Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Company (MBCR) joined together to bring 600 disadvantaged children on the Polar Express for a magical winter ride. The train ride will recreate that of the book, "Polar Express," and kids will be treated to a viewing of the film afterward.

Cunningham joined Diane Patrick, Massachusetts’ First Lady; Secretary Coleman Nee, Secretary of Veterans' Services; Acting General Manager of the MBTA Jonathan Davis; and Hugh Kiley, General Manager of the MBCR.
