Major Fire on Durant Road Forces Closure of Weston Road
The fire has been "knocked down."
UPDATE: 2:23 p.m.: Weston Road from Route 9 to Manor Avenue is closed because of this incident. Police say to expect the closure to stay in place for several hours — it could even last through the evening commute.

Wellesley Firefighters are battling a three-alarm blaze at 1 Durant Road.
Early reports had fire crews "heavily engaged." As of 1:45 p.m. the fire had been knocked down.
The building is a two and a half story home. The fire started in the basement, according to John Duffill's Twitter account.
