This weekend marks the 12th annual Officer Stewart Savage Memorial 5K Road Race at .
The race is an all day event and typically draws hundreds of runners, last year it drew 191. Last year’s winner was Andrew Gardiner, 45, of Wellesley who ran the 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) race in 15 minutes and 39 seconds.
The race is named for Wellesley Police Officer Stewart E. Savage who died in a car crash in 1995.

Runners start at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Webster Athletic Center on the Babson College campus. A kids’ fun run will begin at 10 a.m. for children under 10 years old.
Pre-registration cost is $18, and $20 day of race. The first 300 applicants will get a free long-sleeved T-shirt.

The race is sponsored by the Runners Club. There will be a cookout following the race.
