Police Log: Two Arrested at Work on Warrant-Related Charges

Motorist Pulled Over for Failing to Drive in Right Lane; Arrested for Driving Without License

Pierre Sillice, 25, of Jamaica Plain was arrested and charged with driving without a license on Route 9 last week.

officer Nate Derby observed Sillice traveling below the 50 mph speed limit in the left lane of Route 9 Feb. 20, according to Wellesley Police records clerk Sue Morse.

Derby noticed that Sillice made no attempt to switch to the right lane though it was available and he pulled him over. At that time, Derby learned Sillice’s driver’s license had been previously suspended; he was also driving a rental car and did not have the registration.

Derby also noticed a small bag of marijuana in the vehicle, for which Sillice was issued a civil citation.

Sillice was charged with driving while his license was suspended and failing to travel in the right lane though it was available.

Fugitive Team Arrests Man at Job in Natick

The Wellesley Fugitive Apprehension Team arrested a Wellesley man on an outstanding warrant while he was at work in Natick last week.

Richard C. Knights, 64, was arrested Feb. 21 on a warrant, which carried the charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol – second offense – and leaving the scene of an accident which caused property damage. The warrant was out of of Dedham District court.

Motorist Pulled Over for Driving in Breakdown Lane; Arrested for Driving Without a License

Fontinele Carvalhaes Dasilva, 26, of Marlborough was pulled over on Route 9 last week for driving in the breakdown lane. Once questioned a police officer learned he had no license and he was arrested.

Officer Christopher Cunningham noticed a pickup truck that had driven over the fog line into the breakdown lane for several hundred feet Feb. 21, according to Morse.

Dasilva was pulled over, and upon questioning; Cunningham learned he had no license. Dasilva was arrested and charged for a marked lane violation and driving without an active license.

Whitman Woman Arrested on Warrant-Related Charges at Job in Wellesley

Police arrested a Whitman woman at her job in Wellesley last week.

Sheree A. Mackie, 38, was arrested on an outstanding warrant which carried the charge of larceny over $250 Feb. 22, according to Morse.
