Wellesley Police Officer Nate Derby heard a vehicle approaching on Washington Street Sept. 15. As the vehicle passed, Derby noticed the car’s front right tire was gone and the rim was in contact with the road and the car could not keep a straight line, according to Wellesley Police records clerk Sue Wicklund.

Derby pulled the vehicle over, being driven by Price, and noticed a strong odor of alcohol. Price admitted to drinking a couple beers, Wicklund said.
