Vehicle Pulled Over After Driving on Three Tires, Charged with Drunken Driving

Brian Price, 48, of 14 Redman Drive, Natick was arrested last week after an officer observed him driving on Washington Street on three tires.

Wellesley Police Officer Nate Derby heard a vehicle approaching on Washington Street Sept. 15. As the vehicle passed, Derby noticed the car’s front right tire was gone and the rim was in contact with the road and the car could not keep a straight line, according to Wellesley Police records clerk Sue Wicklund.

Derby pulled the vehicle over, being driven by Price, and noticed a strong odor of alcohol. Price admitted to drinking a couple beers, Wicklund said.

Price was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating recklessly as to endanger and a miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.

Newton Man Arrested, Charged with Possession of Class B Substance

Arthur A. Nenko. 23, of 44 Broadlawn Park, Apt. 19A, Newton was arrested last week after he was found to be in possession of oxycodone pills.

Officer Nate Derby observed a vehicle on Overbrook Drive Sept. 15 which did not have a valid inspection sticker, according to Wicklund.

Derby pulled the vehicle over, driven by Nenko. Nenko said his driver’s license had been suspended. At that point, Nenko had been placed under arrest for driving with a suspended license, and when Derby conducted routine inventory of the vehicle, he discovered a package containing 2.5 small round blue oxycodone pills.

Nenko was charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of a class B substance and driving with an invalid inspection sticker.
