Peeing and Fleeing
after he allegedly crashed his car while driving drunk. Police were alerted to look out for a man who was seen peeing near a BMW in Cambridge, and then they received a report of a car accident on Arlington Street. The man ran away from his car but was located and was no longer wearing any shirt or shoes.
Someone at the Brookline Police Dept. is going for a comedy job, saying that a someone egged the "egg-terior" of a Winthrop Road home. According to the Brookline police blog, "The EGG-teriors of the home including the windows, deck, and front door were egged numerous times."
The Boy Who Cried 'Fire'
Just before 4 a.m. on July 9, someone called Wayland Police to report hearing an unknown person yelling, "Fire!" The caller couldn't pinpoint exactly where the person was — only that he was yelling. Minutes later, the man was found. A second call reported that the man was banging on the door of Wayland's Fire Station No. 2 at 145 Main Street. There was no fire, but the man was intoxicated.
Don't Drink and Pedal
It was dusk, 7:08 p.m. on July 8 to be exact, when a person called the Wayland Police Department to report a possibly intoxicated man near Lavin's Liquors ... riding a bicycle. Police responded, but the bicyclist fled when he spotted police. The bicyclist was soon located, however, and placed in protective custody.
Tire-d of Her Parents Leaving
Sudbury police went to an Old County Road Home on July 7, after a report of a domestic problem. Police found a girl lying down behind her parents' car, preventing them from leaving. The parents told officers their daughter didn't want them to leave, and she was refusing to move.
Bad Music Choice
Woburn police responded to Fowle Street for a loud music complaint on July 9 at 8:33 p.m. According to police, officers have responded to the same house several times for similar complaints. Police spoke to a person at the home, who admitted that no one was listening to the loud music being played in the backyard. Police asked the man to shut it off, but the man only lowered it. Police returned to the home and asked that the music be shut off completely, and it was at that time. According to police, the music was turned on at 7:30 a.m. and was also on all day yesterday. There is a complaint pending in court regarding the harassment, reported police.
At 6:21 p.m., police returned to Fowle Street for a report of a loud radio playing in the backyard, disturbing neighbors. Police reported hearing the music as the officer turned onto Fowle Street. Police asked the homeowner to turn down the radio, and he did.
