Man Arrested After Riding in Pickup Truck Bed

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

On Sunday, Aug. 4, Officer James Lindeloff was checking traffic on Worcester Street when he observed a pickup truck traveling down the road with a person unsecured in the bed.

The pickup truck was stopped and the driver said the male was in the back because there was not enough room in the passenger area of the vehicle.

Lindeloff asked for the passenger in the bed's information and when checking his name in the computer determined that there was a warrant for his arrest out of Boston.
