If you're looking to get some last-minute Thanksgiving preparations, or some early Christmas shopping done in the Linden Street area, you may end up stuck in traffic this afternoon.
According to a traffic alert sent by the Wellesley Police Department, the Kingsbury Street to Crest Street stretch of Linden Street is expected to see heavy traffic between 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Most of the traffic, the alert says, is from shoppers.
Wellesley Police also updated their site with road closure information about the Turkey5 races tomorrow, saying that Linden Street will be closed for about 15 minutes while runners get ready to leave and pass through the Wellesley Square and Wellesley College areas.
