Firefighter Exam to be Held in April

Exam to take place at Wellesley Middle School.

The Wellesley Fire/Rescue Department is announcing that a Firefighter Entrance Examination will be held Saturday, April 12.

The test is made up of three separately timed sections: Listening comprehension, mathematics and reading comprehension that utilize multiple choice and true or false questions. No prior knowledge of fire service is needed to answer the questions.

Results will be sent to candidates within 14 days of finishing the exam. Applicants must obtain an overall minimum score of 70 percent.

The examination will take place at Wellesley Middle School at 50 Kingsbury St. Check in is 8 a.m. The candidate list from this examination will be valid for approximately two years from the

date of the examination. Three days prior to the examination, you will be emailed an admission notice for this examination. Print and bring the letter to the examination registration.
