Cops Break Up Underage Drinking Party, Arrest Host

arrested the host of an underage drinking party last week on Weston Road.

Andrew F. Carlson, 17, of Wellesley, was arrested June 20 after police responded to his home and found persons under 21 in possession of alcohol.

A resident of the area called police and reported seeing minors enter the home with alcohol, according to Wellesley Police records clerk Sue Morse.

Police responded to the area and could see multiple young people looking out the front windows at the police, when they approached the house, they could see teenagers in the kitchen area drinking, Morse said.

“At one point about 20 teenagers ran out of the home into the surrounding neighborhood,” she said.

Carlson was charged with possession of alcohol while under 21, and furnishing alcohol to minors.

Carlson’s parents were not home at the time of the incident, according to Morse.
