Car on Fire Halts Traffic on Wellesley Avenue

Firefighters fought a car fire yesterday afternoon on Wellesley Avenue.

Traffic was stopped on Wellesley Avenue yesterday afternoon after a crash, which caused a car to become engulfed in flames.

Police and fire officials fought the car fire after 3:30 p.m. on Wellesley Avenue at Forest Street yesterday, according to tweets from @WPDPhoto.

Wellesley Avenue was closed near the Wellesley Country Club for about 20 minutes following the crash, according to tweets. There were no injuries reported in the incident.
