Boston Man Steals Babson Student’s Pants, Other Belongings

The following information was supplied by the Wellesley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Boston man was arrested last week after he admitted to police that he’d stolen the pants of a showering Babson College student.

Jamaree Anthony Bonnette, 19, of 625 Parker St., Boston was charged with two counts of larceny from a building, two counts of larceny over $250 and conspiracy Sept. 25 after police caught up with him in near the Wellesley Country Club and he admitted to the theft.

According to Wellesley Police Lt. Marie Cleary, Bonnette admitted to stealing items from the Babson College Webster Center locker room in the past. In this incident, Bonnette, who is not a student of the college, stole the student’s jeans, but did not take items that were reported to be in the jeans’ pockets. These included a watch, wallet and other items, which were later located in a bathroom stall.
