Obituary: Robert T. Lindblad, Retired Vice President of Key Bank in Wellesley

Robert T. Lindblad, 88, of Quincy, formerly of Hyannis and Squantum, died Jan. 10, 2014. 

He was husband of Alice (Vavoudes) Lindblad of Quincy.

Robert was a graduate of Brighton High School and Suffolk University. Bob was a World War II Army veteran serving in France, Belgium, and Germany and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He worked for Key Bank in Wellesley for 30 years, retiring as vice president in 1985. 

After retiring, Bob kept the day-old bread store in business feeding the ducks and swans when ever he had the time.

He is survived by his children, Robert Lindblad Jr. and his wife Linda of Weymouth and Diane Barnes of Cambridge; his sister, Kitty Sawin of Sudbury; his grandchildren, Rob, Patrick and Dennis Lindblad; and her great-granddaughter Alyssa Lindblad.
