Obituary: Jamaine Hunt

Obituary from Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapel:

Jamaine Hunt, 30, of Hyde Park and Wellesley, died Oct. 26, 2013 in his Wellesley home.

Born Oct. 19, 1983 in Boston he was son Glenda M. (Hoge) Gunn and her husband James of Hyde Park and the late Rodney Edwin Hunt. Jamaine lived most of his life in the Hyde Park section of Boston.

A graduate of Boston English High School with the Class of 2002, Jamaine was employed as a truck driver. 

Jamaine’s passion and central focus in life was his daughter. In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. 

In addition to his parents he is survived by his fiancé of Stefania Paola of Wellesley; his daughter Savanna Leigh Hunt; his step-daughter Kassandra Lyn Rodriguez; his expected son in January Jamaine Joseph Hunt Jr.; his siblings Deon Hunt and his fiancé Jacqueline Rodriguez of Natick and Jonathan Gunn of Hyde Park; his grandmothers Pauline M. Hoge and Bernice Hunt, both of Boston; his niece and nephews; his many aunts and uncles and cousins; and his friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Rodd Yadanza Hunt. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Jamaine’s life in the Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St, Waltham Monday Nov. 4, at noon. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday prior to the service from 10 a.m. to noon.
