Obituary: Helen R. (Watson) Calvario, Wellesley High School Graduate

Helen R. (Watson) Calvario, 81, of Medway since 1978, formerly of Wellesley, passed away Oct. 27, 2013 in her residence. 

Mrs. Calvario was born and raised in Wellesley to the late William and Rose (Sounier) Watson. She was a graduate of Wellesley High School Class of 1951.

She was the beloved wife of Angelo Calvario, having just celebrated their 57th anniversary in May.

Mrs. Calvario was a homemaker and an avid bingo player. 

Along with her husband, she leaves her children William R. and his wife Bernadette N. Calvario of Hopkinton, Gary T. and his wife Christine J. Calvario of Mansfield and Susan M. and her husband Paul N. Coppola of Shrewsbury; her grandchildren Sarah E., Andrew J., Derrick W. and Lynsy M. Calvario; her sister Lillian DeLorie of Wellesley; her sister-in-law Mildred Watson, also of Wellesley; and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Stephen M. Calvario.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 9 Glen Road, Wellesley Hills at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Friday, Nov. 1 in the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St., Wellesley Hills from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
