Wellesley Boy Scout Helps Complete Zen Garden

Wellesley Boy Scout Max Sours recently volunteered to help complete a Zen Garden at the First Parish of Watertown, according to the Swellesley Report.

Sours worked with 30 church youth group and troop members on the garden, which has been in the works for almost two years.

Sours’ communicated with suppliers who were able to donate gravel stone and granite for the garden. Sours, along with the other volunteers, shoveled out the garden plot over the last month, the Swellesley Report said. A dedication ceremony was held Sept. 29.
