Patriot Place Chili Cook Off Raises Over $2K for Hockomock Area YMCA

Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse sweeps Patriot Place chili bowl on Saturday, March 29, at Bass Pro Shops.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass.  – The combination of chili and celebrities made for a “wicked” good day for charity as the third annual Patriot Place Chili Cook Off presented by Bass Pro Shops on March 29 attracted more than 1,000 chili fans and netted more than $2,000 for the Hockomock Area YMCA’s Reach Out For Youth & Families Campaign.

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse swept the competition with its chili entry taking home both the judges’ award and fan favorite award. It was the first victory for Davio’s in either category of the annual cook off and bested last year’s champion, Tavolino, for the top prize.

Skipjack’s, competing in its first Patriot Place chili cook off, placed second in the judges’ award and third in the fan favorite while Bass Pro Shops’ Uncle Buck’s Snack Shop placed third in the judges’ award and second in the fan favorite. Other Patriot Place eateries participating in the cook off were Bass Pro Shops’ Blue Fin Lounge, Twenty8 and CBS Scene.
