Today is the national observance of Veterans Day, a federal holiday set aside to honor those men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
In addition to holding a Veterans Day ceremony today, government offices and other places will be closed in observance of the holiday.

- Banks: Most banks in Wellesley are closed today.
- Commuter Rail (MBTA): The Commuter Rail will run on its regular weekday schedule today.
- County Offices: All Norfolk County offices are closed today.
- Grocery Stores: Roche Bros., Whole Foods and Star Market will be open their regular hours today.
- Library: The Wellesley Free Library will be closed today. It will reopen on Tuesday.
- Post Office: The U.S. post offices are closed today.
- Schools: Wellesley Public Schools will be closed today.
- State Offices: All Massachusetts state offices are closed today.
- Town of Wellesley Offices: All town offices at Town Hall and other locations are closed.
