Wellesley Mothers Forum - 4th Annual Touch-A-Truck Day
Benefiting the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children
Saturday, June 4, 9:30am-12:30pm
Mass Bay Community College parking lot
50 Oakland Street, Wellesley
Come see some of your children’s favorite trucks and animals and make a difference in the lives of children in need at the same time! What better way to teach your children the importance of giving back to the community than at an event that's set up just for them? Once again, the event will feature a wide range of trucks and vehicles from kids and adults of all ages to explore. Last year's favorites were the Hummer limousine, RV fit for a rock star, Natick Bookmobile, and a mini excavator that children could operate. This year, we've added the Rocky Acres Farm petting zoo with over twenty different animals for children to pet, hold, and feed. Family Music Makers will also be at the event to get the kids singing and dancing while they enjoy their special day!
All of the money raised at the event will go to the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, a non-profit organization focused on brightening the lives of children and families in crisis. The Foundation believes that we can make the world a better place by creating comforting places for children in crisis to grow and play, strengthening families, supporting our communities, sharing our knowledge, and encouraging others to help make a difference. For more information, please visit their website at www.brighthorizonsfoundation.org.
- The entrance fee is $5 per child—no charge for infants or adults (although additional donations are always welcome)
- Other activities featured at the event include a nut-free bake sale, truck-themed children's activities, story time on the Natick Bookmobile, and an Usborne book sale.
- This event is open to the public, so please spread the word to family, friends, preschools, neighbors, coworkers, or anyone who might like to join us!
- There is no rain date this year, so keep your fingers crossed for good weather!
Thanks in advance for your generosity and participation in what we hope will be a fun-filled and memorable time for all! Please spread the word to your friends and family and bring them with you. This event is open to all!
