Our official Wellesley Community Candy Drive press event is this Friday, November 8th, at 10 am. All the candy collected will be shipped to the troops overseas through CarePacks, a non-profit organization. We are also collecting handwritten notes which will be even sweeter than the candy and surely put a smile on a soldier's face.
Chief Cunnigham, local media, Wellesley School principals and students, and the national guard(with a humvee) will all be present. It is going to be a fun event!
