WCW Lunchtime Seminar: Relational Neuroscience in Action: Reconnecting Dopamine to Healthy Human Relationships

The dopamine reward system is activated in most forms of addiction, providing a devastating feedback loop that keeps people stuck repeating unhealthy behaviors. The same dopamine reward system is an essential part of all healthy relationships, creating a feeling of motivation and energy when people are connecting. This seminar will help participants understand how a culture that believes adult maturity is through separation and individuation undermines the natural link between relationship and dopamine -- setting us all up for addictions. It will also provide strategies to reconnect the dopamine reward system to healthy human relationship.

Lunchtime seminars are free and open to the public. Bring a lunch; coffee and tea will be served.
