The Wellesley Council on Aging presents A Grandparent's Day Event!

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to join the Wellesley Council on Aging in celebrating its first ever Grandparent’s Day event on September 8th at 3:00pm in Henderson Hall at the Wellesley Community Center. Attendees will enjoy a narrated performance by the talented dancers of the North Shore Performing Arts Center (NSPAC). Come and listen to David Ira Rottenberg, the author of Gwendolyn Goes  Hollywood, as he brings his picture book to life through the interpretation of NSPA dancers. After the narration, dancers will engage with the youth to dance to the music and the author will sign copies of his book. This performance is geared towards children ages 8 and under, but all are welcome! We are thrilled that they have chosen to celebrate this special day with the COA and you are welcome to join in the fun – whether you are a grandparent or not! Call to register by calling the COA 781-235-3961! If you need a ride, call our Volunteer Driver’s Program 508-479-9301.
