The Art & Soul of Chibuzo

The Art & Soul of Chibuzo debuts the multi-dimensional works of creative director, composer, and musician Akili Jamal Hayes, along with Grammy Award winning vocalist Maya Azucena, musical legends Cecil McBee, Bill Pierce, and Yoron Israel, and many other special guests. This ensemble performance combines dance, African drumming, original music, spoken word, and film to answer the question, "Where Does the Soul Begin?" Hosted by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life in celebration of Black History Month and as part of the Art & Soul Series.
