Magic Talk Show Seats Soon To Disappear!
The Wellesley Townsman did a feature article on Wellesley
resident, Gil Stubbs, on June 4, 2009, called Magic Man. He is an
accomplished magician and teacher. And
besides that, when he wasn’t doing magic tricks years back, he was busy
designing lunar landing modules for NASA at The Charles Draper Laboratories
here in Cambridge MA. We guess some
folks just have the touch…and speaking of which, Stubbs has a television show
for the 2013/2014 school year. It is
called “Gil Stubbs’ World of Magic”.
This program series will host magicians every month to discuss their
involvement with magic, what attracted them and why. There will be references to the history
of magic while the guests reflect on personal favorites and teachers of the art as well
as students and historians. This television series is modeled after the talk
show format and is intended for an adult audience.
The Wellesley Community Center is taping the pilot at 2:00PM
on Tuesday, September 17 for the first of a series of month broadcasts on
Wellesley Media in front of a live audience.
If you would like to reserve a seat, contact the Wellesley Community
Center at info@wellesleycommunitycenter.org
to book your reservation. Or call the
general office at 781-235-4172.
Admission is free, but seating is limited. We still have some seats available so take advantage of this opportunity if you like the idea of being part of a live audience talk show format.
