Community Servings’ 22nd
Annual LifeSavor Gala to Be Held in
May 2014

LifeSavor
has raised over $7.2 million over the past 21 years to feed the critically ill

WHAT: Over 800
guests are expected to attend Community Servings’ 22nd annual LifeSavor, including local dignitaries
and business leaders and members of Greater Boston’s culinary elite. The party
will begin with a sumptuous cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by
an intimate, multi-course meal at one of Boston’s top restaurants. Already
committed to serve as dinner destinations are Rialto, Top of the Hub, Trade,
The Fireplace and Artisan Bistro.

WHEN and WHERE:
The gala will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at The Langham, Boston and 80
of Boston’s best restaurants. For further details, please visit www.lifesavor.org.

WHO: The gala is sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield
of MA, Citizen’s Bank, The Langham, Boston and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Thanks
to the generosity of The Langham, Boston, our sponsors, participating
restaurants and auction donors, over 90 cents of every dollar raised at LifeSavor
will directly benefit our meal-delivery program for homebound, critically-ill individuals,
their caretakers and families living throughout Massachusetts.

WHY: To provide crucial funds for Community Servings’ food and
nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals
and families living with critical and chronic illnesses, like HIV/AIDS, Cancer,
MS, Lou Gehrig’s disease and over 30 others.
We provide our 850 clients, their dependent families, and caregivers
with appealing, nutritious meals, lunch, dinner and a snack each day and send
the message to those in greatest need that someone cares.  Community Servings’
goals are to help our clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve
the integrity of their families through free, culturally appropriate,
home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs.  For
