Help Sam and Have Fun at the Farm!

Farm Day Party – Fun For The Whole Family!

Acton resident Samantha Turner is a wonderful person and a great friend; like most young women, she is full of life and has many hopes and dreams she has yet to accomplish. Her passion for everything equestrian is well known to her friends; she is a riding teacher and long time employee of Sweet Meadow Farm. She is a fun loving, caring and giving person that has combined her love of horses and people and dedicated her life to teaching anyone who wanted to learn to ride. Her passion shines through with everything she does; everyone in the community knows her and considers her to be a friend.

For all the good that Sam contributes to the community, she has been dealt a terrible blow; she was recently diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma, a rare form of soft tissue cancer; three in one million people are diagnosed with this type of cancer every year.

Sam grew up in Acton, and is 27 years old and since her first day of working on a local farm, she has become part of the community and family.  Sam is a strong young woman and she has begun the first round of treatment, which will end in mid July; and although her treatment is covered by insurance, it has left her weak and unable to return to work full time.

Look at your family, friends and your community members; statistically, one of them will develop Cancer. Can you tell which one it will be? Don’t you want to find a cure before the unthinkable happens to one of them.

Researchers have made great strides in finding a cure for cancer; we are so close but research is expensive and the American Cancer Society implores everyone to donate what they can in order to end this terrible disease.

Cancer is an insidious disease that destroys families. It turns your life upside down and it tears you apart day by day watching what was once a strong loved one become weak and in constant pain, dependent on others for their care.  Although there is no cure, many types of cancer can be treated with medication and therapies. By following doctors orders and recommendation victims of it can live many years.

Please attend this event and help Sam in her time of crisis; if it were your loved one wouldn’t you expect the same?
