Wellesley Symphony Orchestra Celebrates Youth and the Classics

Join the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra (WSO) this Sunday, October 21 as they celebrate youth and the classics at Mass Bay Community College.


Guest soloist Ilana Zaks will perform Dvořák’s Humoresque and Romance for Violin & Orchestra, as well as Bizet-Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy, Op 25.


Additionally, the WSO will perform Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances Suite No. 1,Fauré’s Pavane, Op. 50 and Schubert’s Symphony #5 in Bb.

The show starts at 3 p.m. in the McKenzie Auditorium at 50 Oakland Street in Wellesley. A pre-concert talk is scheduled for 2:15 p.m.


Tickets are available online at http://goo.gl/AJvos, by calling 781-235-0515 or at the box office on the day of the event. Prices are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students. Mass Bay students, faculty and staff are free with a valid ID.
