The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) is one of the world's leading entrepreneurship programs, and to-date has reached more than 500,000 young people globally. This summer, NFTE is partnering with Care.com and Women Up to run a uniquely designed summer camp for 7th and 8th grade girls.
Girl Empower: The NFTE Summer Camp Experience, is a two-week, intensive camp designed to each young women about personal discovery, leadership, entrepreneurship and teamwork.
Admission is free and girls are chosen based on well-thought answers to short essay questions that include the following: community involvement, demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship or related fields, and their ability to overcome challenges.
