The New Center for Arts & Culture presents Gary Shteyngart, humorist and award-winning novelist, as a featured presenter in its fall 2012 season of New Center LIVE! This event is the first that New Center has hosted in Wellesley marking an exciting step for the organization in expanding its reach to new communities.


Shteyngart talks about his life and career—and how the fall of the iron curtain turned into a bonanza for Jewish American fiction with Prof. Jonathan Wilson, Director of the Center for the Humanities at Tufts University.
