Radio Personality Unknowingly Wins Election Tuesday Night

Howie Carr will represent some of you at Town Meeting over the next three years.

He didn't run a campaign, but Howie Carr has won the election anyway.

The radio personality, Boston Herald columnist and author was elected to Wellesley's Town Meeting to represent Precinct F as a write-in candidate with 40 votes. Carr accepted the position formally today, tweeting out to his fans: "I am now an elected official!"

Carr came in 8th on the Precinct F ticket, and was the second write-in candidate to win.
