Stowaway Scorpion Now In Wellesley College Science Lab

The baby scorpion that found its way to Wellesley via international luggage now has a home.

The scorpion that  via a traveler’s luggage is now in a  science lab.

The scorpion is in the lab of associate professor of biological sciences David Ellerby, according to the Wellesley College website.

The Boston Globe reported yesterday that the scorpion is about half an inch long. Lab assistants have named the scorpion “Piccolo,” which means "small" in Italian.
