Pumpkins Are Coming to Hills Church Mid-Month

Wellesley Hills Congregational Church's lawn will be covered with pumpkins beginning Oct. 15.

The will sell pumpkins to the public beginning Oct. 15, according to a sign on the church’s lawn.

Pumpkins of all sizes will line the front lawn off of Washington Street. Though Cheri Clark, organizer of the patch, said she expects bigger pumpkins this year compared to

“They could be somewhere between 2 and 3 feet tall,” she said.

The pumpkins, which are shipped from New Mexico, will be sold from anywhere between 50 cents to $50, she said.

The patch will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will close on Halloween or when the pumpkins run out, Clark said.
