Mass. SJC to Hear Greineder Case Today

Dirk Greineder, the Wellesley allergist convicted of murder in 2001, has appealed his case.

The former Wellesley allergist convicted of murdering is wife will be in court today.

Dirk Greineder, who in 2001 was convicted of the 1999 murder of his wife, will be before a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court judge this morning to present an appeal of his conviction based on a June U.S. Supreme Court ruling on DNA testimony.

According to WCVB.com, at Greineder’s trial, a DNA expert testified for the prosecution despite not actually handling the testing.
