Local Resident Participates in Governor’s Youth Council Reunion

Kathryne Brauner was one of 28 young people from around the state to meet with Gov. Deval Patrick Monday.

Wellesley Hills resident Kathryne Brauner took part in a reunion of the Governor’s Youth Council Monday.

The 2010-2012 version of the council continues the work of the previous council (2008-2010) by focusing on the issue of bullying in schools, according to a press release from Gov. Deval Patrick’s office.

“I continue to be impressed with these amazing young leaders. Their commitment to civic engagement make them incredible role models for the next generation,” Patrick said in the press release. “I look forward to continuing to work with them to focus on the issues that are important to youth in Massachusetts.”
