978-980 Worcester St. Complex Scheduled for Foreclosure Auction

The commercial complex on Route 9 near the Natick border that will house Justine’s Table, is heading for foreclosure auction this month.

The site at 978-980 Worcester St. will be auctioned July 16, according to the Boston Business Journal. The site, which is owned by Wellesley Realty Associates, affiliated with Behrand Construction & Luxury Homes of Wellesley, has a Dunkin’ Donuts, and plans have been laid out to open a restaurant and deli at the site.

For years, a group lead by Dean Behrend attempted to get town permissions to open Justine’s Table at the site, while building a residential complex behind the building. The Board of Selectmen, , shot down the request.
