5 Things You Need to Know: Feb. 13

Business as usual, as well as a class on therapeutic photography in today's Five Things.

1. Mostly sunny during the day, although the evening may see some more flakes. About a 30 percent chance of snow, according to the National Weather Service, although no accumulation is expected. Temperatures between 41ºF and 25ºF.

2. Sign someone you care about up for the Patch Newsletter. Actually, don't do that, but please tell them where they can sign up. Follow this link, or scroll to the bottom of the page

3. For those making a transition, Presbyterian Church in Needham is offering their support group: Transitions Needham: Job Search Support. Whether you need somewhere to do research, or hop on a computer to look for jobs, you can do it there. It kicks off at 9 a.m.

4. For business owners still curious as to How the new health care law affects your business, the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce is running a panel on the subject. This afternoon, at 4 p.m., Parametric Technology hosts. Entry is $10 for members, or $20 for non-members.

5. Personal images and therapeutic photography can help you with the mourning process. To that end, Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston is offering a free class on Photography for Mourners. You'll learn some photography basics, and any camera you have will work. Starts at their 70 Walnut Street location.
