3. For those making a transition, Presbyterian Church in Needham is offering their support group: Transitions Needham: Job Search Support. Whether you need somewhere to do research, or hop on a computer to look for jobs, you can do it there. It kicks off at 9 a.m.

4. For business owners still curious as to How the new health care law affects your business, the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce is running a panel on the subject. This afternoon, at 4 p.m., Parametric Technology hosts. Entry is $10 for members, or $20 for non-members.

5. Personal images and therapeutic photography can help you with the mourning process. To that end, Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston is offering a free class on Photography for Mourners. You'll learn some photography basics, and any camera you have will work. Starts at their 70 Walnut Street location.
