5 Things You Need to Know: Dec. 13

Start the day with some glee and a great movie, then learn how to sustain it.

1. Remember yesterday? Like the weather? Good, more of the same--so says the National Weather Service--sunny day followed by a mostly clear night. Temperatures will range between 43ºF and 27ºF.

2. Those interested in the Montessori schools, then you may be intrigued to hear the Wellesley Montessori School is hosting an Open House. Starting at 9:30 a.m. and going 'til 11 a.m., at their 79 Denton Road location. Meet the director and watch some of the classes.

3. Put on a big smile and check out the Needham Retired Mens' Glee Club Meeting. They'll be at Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, starting at 10 a.m. Rehearsal is an hour and a half every Thursday morning, and new members and visitors welcome.

4. Catch a Toddler Movie! Short, 30-minute movies based on storybooks. The Needham Free Public Library program starts at 11 a.m., and is aimed at both the young and the young at heart. 

5. Wellesley College, working with Babson and Olin Colleges are bringing a new group course on sustainability to the three schools. Tonight, they are presenting the results of that class at their Sustainability Presentation, at their 106 Central Street space at 5:30 p.m.
