Good afternoon/evening. Welcome to Stoneham Theatre.  My name is __________, and I am the __________ at Stoneham Theatre.  Thank you for joining us for SOMETHING’S AFOOT.  I just have a few brief announcements for you tonight. First, I’d like to thank our Flagship Sponsors, StonehamBank and the Salem Five Charitable Foundation, for helping us make live, professional theatre in Stoneham possible.

Next up on the Mainstage, we have the World Premiere of THE UNBLEACHED AMERICAN. You are invited to discover a piece of American history with Ernest Hogan, the "father of ragtime" and the first African American to perform on Broadway. Elliot Norton Award-winning actor Johnny Lee Davenport will make his Stoneham Theatre debut in the role, and the show runs from April 10th-27th.

We’ve also added a special event at the end of the season. From June 12th-29th, MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL comes to Stoneham Theatre, and it will star Kathy St. George. We hope you’ll join us for that.

And remember…it is not too late to become a Stoneham Theatre Member!  In fact, you can put the price of your Something’s Afoot ticket towards a 3-Show Membership.  Our Box Office representatives would love to discuss our Membership options and benefits with you, so stop by to see them tonight.

Please turn off all cell phones, pagers, or anything else that might beep or make noise during the performance. We also ask you not to text during the show, as it is distracting both to the performers and your fellow audience members. Photography, video, and audio recording are strictly prohibited.  In the unlikely event of an emergency, there are emergency exits on either side of the stage as well as behind you where you entered.

Once again, thank you for coming to Stoneham Theatre. Now, sit back, relax, and enjoy SOMETHING’S AFOOT!
