New Acupuncture Clinic Opens in Wellesley
Kan Chen, Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Chinese Herbalist, has announced the opening of Bamboo Wisdom Acupuncture & Herbs at 572 Washington Street, Suite 3, in Wellesley.
To mark its opening, the clinic will hold an Open House on Sunday, March 16, from 1:00
to 5:00 pm. This event, which is open to the public, will provide people with an opportunity
to tour the clinic and meet the acupuncturist.

“I invite people to join us as we celebrate our opening. I hope that they will stop by and ask questions about how they can benefit from acupuncture and herbal medicine,” says Mr. Chen.

“Many people know about acupuncture for pain relief,” he continues. “Not so many realize
that acupuncture can be beneficial for a wide range of issues including infertility, insomnia, neurological problems, and anxiety.”
Mr. Chen is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture as a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed to practice acupuncture in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Committed to ongoing education and training, he has studied pediatric acupuncture and the treatment of infertility, sports injuries, diabetes, ADHD, and autism with Oriental Medicine masters in Massachusetts, California, and Tokyo, Japan.
He also holds a Master of Science degree from Boston University.
In addition to impressive scholarly credentials, Mr. Chen brings to his work extensive practical experience and a caring, compassionate manner.
“After working in practices in Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts, I am pleased to
be opening my own clinic near my home town of Needham,” states Mr. Chen.
“I would describe my approach to acupuncture as being ‘results-oriented,’” continues Mr. Chen. “I enjoy using my knowledge and experience to provide each of my patients with personalized treatment to address their problems effectively and to promote their overall health and wellbeing.”
