LINX Soccer Camps to host The Coerver Clinic

Wellesley, MA - March 10 - LINX Soccer Camps will be hosting a Coerver Clinic at LINX Camps on Sunday, March 30, 2014.  The clinic, which will be held on LINX's Dana Hall Campus in Wellesley, MA, is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 10th grade who want to learn ball mastery skills and one on one technique.  Coerver is the world's #1 ranked soccer coaching method and is endorsed and recommended by soccer legend, twice World Cup Champion and twice Olympic gold medal winner Kristine Lilly who states, "Coerver Coaching has history, it's authentic, and the best soccer teaching program I have seen.  I worked with it all through my career, and it certainly made me a better player."  The method is proven to help children become skilled, confident and creative players while having fun.  LINX's alliance with Coerver Coaching complements LINX's coaching philosophy, and provides children with the benefit of highly skilled coaches focused on individual skill development and group play.  Good sportsmanship and respect are qualities instilled in the young players, as well as the attitude that character and performance are valued at a higher level than winning.  LINX Executive Director Josh Schiering adds, "LX Sports Camps prides itself on offering campers premier training from expert coaches.  To have teamed up with the World's No. 1 Soccer Coaching Method (Coerver Coaching), and to have their staff leading the campers each day on our playing fields, fills me with a sense of pride in knowing we are doing the best we can for our soccer campers."  Schiering went on to say, "LX Soccer Camps powered by Coerver Coaching is the best place for soccer kids to get the training to advance to the next level!"

The one-hour clinics are held at different times throughout the day, depending on the age of the soccer player, with Kindergarten and 1st graders starting at 9am and ending with 9th and 10th graders at 12:30pm.  Participants will be challenged through games and contests with trophies awarded to top jugglers, speed relay winners, and fastest kickers.  The cost of the clinic is $40 per child.  Score cards, given to each player in the clinic, will be tallied by expert instructors on an individual basis, and can be kept by the player for future use.  A free T-shirt will be given to the first 100 to sign up for the clinic, and all registrants will be entered to win a free week of LINX Soccer Camp.
