LINX Soccer Camp and Coerver Coaching Team Up for 2nd Year to Provide Expert Training for Campers

WELLESLEY, MA - February 14 - For a second year, LINX is honored to welcome staff members of Coerver Coaching as leaders for LINX’s weeklong summer soccer camps. LINX, whose headquarters are located at 141 Linden Street, Wellesley, MA, partnered last year with the reputable and sought after company. The alliance complements LINX’s coaching philosophy, and provides children in Kindergarten through 10th grade with the benefit of highly skilled coaches focused on individual skill development and group play.

Three beautifully maintained athletic fields, located on Dana Hall Campus in Wellesley, MA, and a regulation-sized High School soccer field provide campers with an ideal environment to learn and sharpen skills like ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, headers and throws, and defensive maneuvers. The Coerver Coaching Method is endorsed and recommended by soccer legend, twice World Cup Champion and twice Olympic gold medal winner Kristine Lilly who states, “Coerver Coaching has history, it’s authentic, and the best soccer teaching program I have seen. I worked with it all through my career, and it certainly made me a better player.” The method is proven to help children become skilled, confident and creative players while having fun. Good sportsmanship and respect are qualities instilled in the campers, as well as the attitude that character and performance are valued at a higher level than winning. LINX will be hosting a Coerver Coaching Clinic at LINX Camps on March 30, 2014. The clinic is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 10th grade who want to learn ball mastery skills and one on one technique. They will be challenged through games and contests with trophies awarded to top jugglers, speed relay winners, and fastest kickers. The cost of the clinic is $20 per child.
