LINX Dance Studio Welcomes Gymnast Justina Robbins as Expert Instructor for Acro Tumbling and Dance

WELLESLEY, MA – May 21, 2014 – LINX Dance Studio of Wellesley, MA is pleased to announce the addition of Justina Robbins as gymnastics teacher and dance counselor for its Acro Tumbling program and summer dance camps.

Justina Robbins has taught and inspired gymnasts since 2008, is safety certified, and is a current member of USAG (USA Gymnastics). She was a member of the Ashland High School Gymnastics team, and participated on the East Elite All Star cheer team, as well as pop-warner, high school and all-star cheerleading. In addition to gymnastics and cheering experience, Robbins will receive her degree in Business Administration this year and is continuing her education at Framingham State University, providing a well-rounded role model for LINX gymnasts and dancers. Robbins, a talented and passionate gymnast since the age of 4, and winner of several first place awards on floor during her competitive years, provides expert instruction in acrobatic moves, gymnastics and dance elements suited to the skill level of each individual gymnast and dancer at LINX.

Robbins is enthusiastic about her new position, “I enjoy being able to teach the kids here at LINX something I am passionate about. It is exciting to see the students already making great progress after just a few weeks of being with them. We are well on our way to reaching our desired skills and goals by all the hard work we are doing."

LINX’s Acro Tumbling classes are designed for current dancers and young aspiring gymnasts in K-12th grade with concentration in balance, strength, flexibility, agility, motor coordination and body awareness. Skills learned and practiced include cartwheels, aerials, vaulting and trampoline drills, walkovers and more. The studio’s marley sprung floors help prevent the harsh injuries and repeated collisions experienced with the traditional dance floors used in other area studios.
